Aura: Seizure First Aid is a user-friendly application that equips users with essential information and guidance on how to effectively assist individuals experiencing seizures, fostering confidence and knowledge in emergency situations.
Aura is an application designed to provide support for individuals with epilepsy by notifying their surroundings and caregivers in the event of an impending seizure. Its features are aimed at fostering a safer environment for those living with this condition.
Main Features:
- Seizure Alert: With a simple tap, users can alert those around them and their caregivers when assistance is needed.
- Help Delay: Users often experience an aura before a seizure, though not all auras indicate an imminent seizure. Aura allows users to set a help delay of up to 60 seconds. If the aura subsides, the user can cancel the alert. However, if a seizure does occur, the alert will be sent to emergency contacts.
- Seizure First Aid Guidance: The app provides animated GIFs and audio instructions to guide nearby individuals on how to administer proper first aid during a seizure.
- Live Location When Alert: When a seizure alert is triggered, users' location and seizure status are included in notifications sent to their caregivers.
- Nearby Hospital: The app offers quick access to locate nearby hospitals during emergencies.
- Alert Sounds: Users can select different sounds to notify others in their vicinity when a seizure event occurs.
- Seizure Logs: Each seizure event is logged automatically, with users able to add details such as duration, mood, triggers, and additional notes for comprehensive record-keeping.

- Aura integrates with HealthKit to sync your Medical ID data from the Apple Health app.
